“If your relationship has more issues than your magazine, you need to cancel your subscription.”

Where to begin. I decided to start this anonymous blog as a means to release my inner thoughts and feelings on my tremulous relationship. I figured that it would be interesting to document the course of the relationship, while allowing myself to reflect on the past.

I have been involved with this man for over 5 years. Over the course of our relationship I have experienced infidelity, lies, and deception. Most of you are already thinking, “why the fuck is she still with him?” I ask myself the same thing, everyday.

Currently I’m in the process of deciphering why I’m still in the relationship and further more, why I’ve attempted to make it work. I find myself in a state of “comfort” with this man. While I love him for everything we have been through, I question if I’m even in love with him anymore.

So why stay? I’m not in a place to make “drastic change,” or so I like to tell myself. 

I know one day I will eventually come to terms with everything and make the ‘right’ decision. In the mean time, I have forced myself to make ‘me’ a priority again. If I can continue on this right path of re-building myself, then maybe everything will come into clarity and I will finally be able “cancel my subscription” for good.
